Who are we ?

It all started in 2003. Stéphane Poncelet Showroom was born at a time when the children's fashion market was changing. At the beginning of the new millennium, trends are changing quickly, very quickly even, since they are part of a world market in perpetual motion. The children's fashion of the 90s, confined to France, standardized and different from that of parents, fades away to fit into a broader universe: family, outings, travel, the art of living, etc.

Stéphane Poncelet follows and even anticipates this trend by relying on the cultural fashion magazine Milk, which was born at the same time as the showroom. This intuitive entrepreneur observes that the major French brands are increasingly in competition with labels from foreign designers.

These, innovative and original, already sign their differences with collections adapted to the hatching of a conscientious and reasoned consumer. The materials are carefully selected and the models and colors perfectly echo adult fashion; children are the “mini selves” of parents.

It is mainly by traveling and marking his presence at international fashion fairs, but also art and design, that Stéphane Poncelet meets these creative artists, new faces of children's fashion.

The Poncelet showroom today reflects the energy of its founder, his curiosity and his sensitivity to products and materials. Stéphane Poncelet of course provides the impetus, but he also listens and feeds on the ideas of his collaborators. In the middle, we speak of "the big family of the showroom".

Today, the showroom continues to expand worldwide, acquiring new brands and new customers.

Who is Stephane Poncelet?

Between Stéphane Poncelet and the child a constant and happy complicity has been established. For twenty-five years, the manager of the sales agency Showroom Poncelet has been sympathetically observing the growth, vagaries and changes in the children's fashion market. Without ever losing his optimism. Stéphane Poncelet has always been immersed in the world of children's fashion, in fact, his mother had a children's shoe store in Toulouse.

He began his career as a representative in the Midi-Pyrénées region, then in the North, for the Aster brand, for four years. When he arrived in Paris in 1995, Aster entrusted him with responsibility for export. The idea of creating his own agency was born in a corner of his mind. So, in 2003, he created Showroom Poncelet.

He feeds his passion through his various encounters with talented men and women, passionate people, the discovery of new products and new trends. Travel is also a driving force in his life. This allows her, among other things, to meet foreign designers who have a different vision of the market, visit factories in distant countries and find her inspiration at international fairs.
